Smith & Williamson scoops awards for Best Growth Wealth Manager and Best IHT and succession planning at Investors Chronicle and FT Wealth Management Awards, 2010

Smith & Williamson Investment Management has been named the Best Growth Wealth Manager and the Best Wealth Manager for Inheritance Tax and Succession Planning at the Investors Chronicle and Financial Times Wealth Management Awards, 2010.

Wealth management awards 2010 logoThe category for Best Growth award is for the wealth manager that has delivered outstanding returns to its growth investor clients, as measured by Asset Risk Consultants, an independent organisation which assess investment performance. The award also recognises Smith & Williamson as having a clear strategy for delivering growth for the future. 

The category for Best Inheritance Tax and Succession Planning award recognises the wealth manager that offers outstanding inheritance tax and succession planning advice. Smith & Williamson’s ability to offer a holistic service in tandem with the Private Client Tax Service department boosts the firm’s expertise in this area.

The Awards aim to identify the best wealth and investment managers available to investors in the UK by asking readers of the Investors Chronicle and the FT to rate the service they receive, by comparing performance as measured by Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) and by interviewing managers.

The awards were announced on 29 April 2010.
